My first Short-Eared Owl

Today I was privileged to travel a 400 mile round trip to see my first short eared owl with the thanks of a fellow member, thank you.
The experience rates in my top two wild life moments and I travelled the 4 hour trip home with a huge smile on my face.
This shot stood out when I was quickly reviewing them on site so thought to share it. Hope you like it. I have yet to do anything with it apart from a slight crop. I think I will clone out the barb wire but to tired at the mo

Karen the wait was worth it. After 4 hours I was getting worried but in 10 secs I forgot and I still have the grin. Thank you for your kind comments
