Hi All,

This was the first wild barn owl shot I got while on my way to peterborough the other day.
luckily had my 100-400mm in the car, saw around 3 owls doing this along the ditches & banks, quite far from me but managed to get it as it flew past with its dinner!

probably not be best shot I've done or you may have seen on here with others, but... I'm happy I managed to get it with the camera (y)

Love this..........well composed and atmospheric background.

Well captured(y)

Stunning image! Made all the better by it not being too close IMHO.

Cracker of an image; very atmospheric as said and just a very good capture!

The amount of high quality bird like images on here is incredible. It's something I've never shot, but looking at all of them on here is making me want to! Don't think I'd get quite enough reach from my 200mm.

Lovely capture and great atmospheric colours. Well done.

Regards: Gordon

great shots, stunning image
very very well done but the copyright for me is very invadent

Very nice shot indeed  Not keen on the copyright running through the middle like this though.

Thank you,
watermark I agree, but it's choice I made when displaying my images online. (standard watermark on export)

I could put it in the corner, but easily it's cropped out and the majority of shots I have it doesn't really take it away from the image.

better to be safe then sorry :)

Great shot
Naff watermark, but I kinda understand why you've ruined the shot with it

lol, I love your signiture!
I understand, but it's what I chose, either way.. you'll remember who did it (y)

My first thought was "cracking business card"

I like the tones of the image, well spotted and caught (y)

Get it framed! Great shot, love the colour.

Fully understand the watermark,

Super pair of shots, it doesn't matter that it's not close up in #1 the background colours are stunning.

Thank you all for your comments. :)

I'm glad I did stop and took out the camera, it was one of those moments.
when as it happend you knew you saw something special.

just didn't know what it looked like on big screen till got home.
