Thought I'd share a couple of shots I took of my friends little boy the other day. I seem to have put wildlife on the backburner lately but I've still been using the camera from time to time practicing portraits/people which is good fun.

Both taken with Sigma 105 macro, D2x, ISO800.

#1 is nice, mum looks a bit tense, but very 'baby', but #2 I love and is the sort of pic I would love to have had of mine if I had had a camer when either of them were that age... it just sums up the perfection of new babies, miniture humans

How lovely Maybe if she wasnt looking into the camera would make for more of a candid shot, but lovely non the less

I'm not sure about the top one, I know what you mean about the eyes of mum - I have one with her not looking as well as this one, I think because she picked out the one I posted I just swayed towards it more
