I usually prefer B&W but I think they seem to lose something in this case - or maybe that's just what I think!

you nailed the focus and i love they way here dark eyes contrast the scene. Both prefered in colour IMO
 
Great photos and like the rest I think I prefer the colour ones. The picture of your daughter is great with the shallow depth of field focusiing the attention right to her eyes. In my limited experience and humble opinion, I might have cropped it a bit more to remove the person sitting in the background. Otherwise fantastic :)

I know what you mean about cropping to get rid of the imposter!
