There I was at work minding my own business when there was a knock on the door. A gentleman who I'd seen but never really said more than hello to came into the office and introduced himself. He wanted to see a colleague who was on the phone at the time. So as he waited and it was lunch time we had a bit of a chat.

We started mentioning hobbies etc and I said that I had a passing interest in photography. He asked what camera I used (Canon 1ds 111) and he told me he had the mk2 and the 7d.
Then the bombshell........he has just bought the Canon 800mm f5.6. I nearly fell off my chair when he told me what he had paid for it.

Things suddenly got a bit interesting when he said that I could borrow it !!!!!

One one condition....I take him to the Mach loop to get some low fly shots in.

I guess I will be his Biatch for the day just to get my grubby mits on that baby.

I'm not cheap honest;)

He just wants you to carry it up there for him :D

D

Wow, result

Wish I had a friend or could find a friend like that

Def look forward to seeing those pictures

Is he about a foot taller than you? If he takes a small pillow along with him and asks you to tie it on your head, you'll know why your there.....

hope he doesn't blank after carrying that up...

i would take him up k2 for a go on that. like allan said if he has got a pillow your going to have a sore neck but run if he wonts you to bite it

Want a 3rd person to help carry it up the hills ? as long as I get a chane to shot with it :naughty:

Probably be able to get take off shots at Valley from the top of the mach loop hill with that size lens :D
