Well after my recent post about all my birds going away, none of them have returned yet but this little lady appeared all of a sudden this evening.
Now its time to own up, I just grabbed the camera and took several shots, thought the shutter speed was a bit high but thought nothing of it until I checked the ISO ahh! 1600, I always put it to 200 when I put it away but not the last time.
Just about everything is wrong with this shot I know but thought I would share because I have never had one in my garden before and its the only bird in weeks to visit.

love the way you caught the green woodpecker in mid hop .could be wrong but guess its in the garden looking for ants.
