Hi all,

Just looking to get some ideas on how to improve my new website, i think i need to downscale the images a little file size wise but any other comments very much welcome! Have to admit i'm not massively sure on the meta tag thing so advice on that much appreciated, www.chicanephotography.co.uk

Overall I think it works, but I you're right about your image sizes - they are too big. Other than that these are the things I'd look at:

Bigger images in the lightboxes and also the ability to move between images in a series within the lightbox would be good.

If you want to improve SEO try adding more text into the site - captions for the images and so on.

Maybe make the comments box a bit smaller?

This wouldnt be possible as its a Flash site

There is an HTML fall back site for users without Flash, which is what the Googlebot will index. So assuming all content is shared between the two versions (it looks like it is to me) it should help.
 
Thanks for all of the advice guys the new images that i've added in to the non motorsport section have had the size reduce quite a lot and seem to open quicker. Was having a look on elements and it looks like i can add metadata to the photos on there, not sure if that will help?

Unfortunately the website builder that i use doesn't have the option to skip between images once you've enlarged them, do you think it would be better to just use a slide show on each page?
