Oh how i wish i could take out the feeder thing, im determined i will do when ive read a bit of scott kelby

This is a lovely image, however maybe slightly improved with another 20mm of frame to the left and about 30mm taken from the right.
Would not worry about the perch, would never have guessed it was a feeder.
I can see you had a go at disguising it though

Nope, a modestly average 280mm

Ray I am glad that you are prepared to embrace the wonders of photoshop, the Nuthatch is fine, try some cropping on those Bull Finch shots.

Try and give them just a bit more room than the Nuthatch, remember the rule of thirds with regard to composition
