No
and they have fixed the broken viewfinder display but not straightened the viewfinder tilt and "adjusted" the diopter so now even wound completely anticlockwise I still can't quite get a sharp focus with my left eye, I can with my right eye but only just, it was fine before it "got fixed".

So now I have to arrange to send it back, dither about with couriers etc etc, I'm not a happy camper, I've been over 3 weeks without it.

Wonder if they'll loan me one?

Wouldn't put any money on them loaning you one but you could try asking.
Mine is currently away for a second attempt to correct a fault introduced by a shutter repair that it wasn't even sent away for initially. I didn't ask for a loaner but as I have not had a camera since the first week of the year now.

In the old days of local shops as apposed to the internet ,I took my camera back to where I bought it for a slight repair ,and He took a far dearer camera off the display and said "here ,use this till you're camera comes back"
Well chuffed was I.
Till I went back to pick up mine.
a couple of weeks later ,I was trading mine in for the lender.

Not daft was the chap in't shop was he.......:D:D

At a very large guess, I would say they have installed the thumb adjuster one full-turn or a half-turn out. If you want to fix that yourself, looking at it, it looks fairly easy. There is a cover stuck over a screw that holds it on - removable with a small watchmakers screwdriver. Position the wheel in the 'best' position first and return the adjuster back half a turn back.

I know you shouldn't need to do this, but this may get you out of a jam... In the meantime, don't worry about keeping the E-1 a while longer!
