Bit bored today, so I used the macro lashup and on board flash to take some closeup experiments... All shot at about f11 or thereabouts. I'm afraid I forgot to note it down from the lens on each shot.

I'm sorry, but if they're cake, then I'm sticking to bars of chocolate for my sweet tooth in future! :puke:

Interesting set of textures though. I can see the last but one is cake, but the others are putting me off my lunch. ;)
 
Thank you. Lee, I'm afraid to say that isn't cake. There's only 2 shots of cake in there.... The first three are very tasty....

Just noticed I didn't number them... Oops... better correct that.
 
Funny the first 3 are very tasty as only 2 & 5 look tasty to me :LOL:
 
2&3 are the same thing Alby. 5, I wouldn't want to eat like that...
 
#5 looks like the top of a baked cake to me too.

ok 1, some kind of filling mostly fruit, 2 and 3 cake, 5 orange peal with muted colours 4 and 6 no idea

4) Corn Cracker (gluten free)
5) An egg
6) Butternut Squash

Well thanks john, but i'm still none the wiser. What the heck is a gluten free corn cracker?! :)
 
:) Lee, it's like a cracker for cheese made with corn with the texture of cardboard.... It's for those that are unable to eat wheat flours.

hmmmm, actually it could be worse... some of the other appropriate foodstuffs are far worse.
