Need a smaller bag..

Hi All,
I usually carry a medium backpack to sling in a camera body, a few lenses, flash and other kit. I've started doing gig photography in small venues and TBH, it's a liability. I can't keep it on my back as I work in the crowd, and I get paranoid it's going to get nicked the rest of the time.
I want something that'll carry a couple of lenses and sling close to my body and not get in the way - being honest, a pair of cargo pants nearly works but doesn't have quite enough storage! Does anyone have a recommendation for a storage bag that fits tight to the body and can carry a few lenses - and survive a mosh pit?

Your best bet is a sling-shot type bag, sling it around to your front.

Ta. That's a thinner version of my full size Fancier King Kong 40. Might well do the job tho. Got a work trip out to Seattle next month and wanted to get sorted for that - will have a laptop bag (work), 2 weeks of clothes etc in hand luggage (I travel light!) and need to carry my camera too. Have also just ordered some neoprene lens cases as I figure a pair of cargo pants will be useful for discreet gear carry...
