It is vastly underexposed, in fact is the lenscap still on?. But seriously, try setting the camera to bracketed exposures and then you should have a series of three images with different exposure levels.
Thank u all... I was actually attempting to highlight partial face and give it a noir look for the visual appeal... Sharpness is missing... I will work on it .... Thanks
I couldnt spot anything in the first photo. It was only after it was brightened a little in the edit that I could see it was a dog. But then again I'm on my iphone.
I'd be tempted to reshoot with a much brighter light at the left side of the photo brightening the face more resulting in a sharper shot while keeping the other side in shadow.
