need help with sigma 105mm

Ive been playing about with the lens and im a bit concerned about something and not sure if its the lens or me. When i take a pic with the macro lens the image is bright and not showing the true colour and does this on every image no matter what i do to change it its the same. I took a picture outside of the pegs on the washing line and it doesnt come out right

macro 1/200 f4
kit 1/200 f5.6

i have been messing about with various settings and it still comes out lighter than the kit lens and doesnt really show true colour
 
Exif says first image at f4 second at 5.6. Same shutter.

so more light allowed in on image 1 thus overexposing compared to image 2 which is why 1 is brighter.
 
i just went off what was on the display on the screen i just got the lens yesterday and not had much chance to play with it and every image was wrong and was annoying me ill try again and see what happens ill try it in daylight

oh and dont be sorry, were all learning,
try using the same f number shutter speed and iso.
say f4 iso 200 and 1/200th sec
