New Focus Screen Helps with Samyang 14mm

For those who may be struggling to focus their 14mm lens, i have just fitted a new focus screen to my 5D MK2 purchased from http://www.focusingscreen.com/index.php.

The screens are made from Canon screens from their 1D series, they are cut down to fit a 5D MK 2 (or many other models including Nikons) took a few minutes to fit and it now gives me an old school split image screen, plus grid, the matte is the same as the EG-S so you set that in the custom function menu so there are no metering issues.

Isn't manual focus with a 14mm easy though? With the focus at 2.5m at f/2.8, everything from 1.2m to infinity is in focus.

For WA lenses try using the Hyperfocal Distance method of manual focusing for maximum DOF.
