Hi everyone,

I'm new here! Literally brought my first camera today - Canon 4000D with the standard 18-55mm lens. Initially looking to get into landscape photography, and then use it for interior house photoshoots, to help along with my work.

Where are the best places to go to practice landscapes in the essex/Hertfordshire area?

Welcome to TP, it's a great place. Just go out and shoot what appeals to you and post on here for crit you will get a lot of helpful feedback. Also go and look at the work of others both on line and in exhibitions/galleries, it's the best way to learn.

Hi, welcome to TP- I think you'll struggle with the lens you have for landscapes and interior shots to be blunt. 18-55mm is just not wide enough

consider a 10-20mm or any other wide angle lens - I use a 10mm -24mm for landscapes
