New lens dilemma, (for a change)

After a recent incident, I'm in a market for a new lens to replace my Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 OS. As well as this hopefully in the new year I would like to move to full frame, either 5Dc or 6D. So ideally it will be EF and not EF-s. I will be keeping my 60D as a 2nd body. My short list is

Canon 17-40L f/4
Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 vc
Canon 24-105 f/4

My photo interests are landscape, portrait and wildlife. Budget is about £600 ish and don't mind 2nd hand. What are people's thoughts and experiences with these lenses.

I haven't used the Tamron, so my advice would be the 24-105mm

Ideal as a do it all lens and the IS comes in handy, 17-40 is much more limited for general use unless you do mainly landsape stuff

I believe that Sigma are bringing out a 24-105mm OS lens soon, so that might be worth looking into, not sure of price though

Reckon you will have to get an additional lens for wildlife, there again don't suppose the 17-70 was much use for that unless the subjects were horses and cows

Thanks for that, I guess the wildlife bit is slightly misleading. The lenses I have already are Tamron 70-200 vc sigma 150-500 OS and of course the 50 f1.8

I ended up keeping my 17-40mm for crop camera. If you get a good one they are great.
