New lens off to Sigma....

Had to send my 100-300mm f/4 back to Sigma today, autofocus has pooped out after only a week....

I was under the impression the latest D200 firmware had cured the HSM/D200 problems, but the AF has completely stopped working (tried it on a D70s and D300 on Friday to check). So, the nice chap from Sigma I spoke with on Friday arranged for me to send it in. Shuld have it back in 2-3 weeks hopefully!!

Bad luck My Canon 24-70 had to go back a while ago for a new aperture assembly, didn't work right from day 1.

If the lens has gone back to Sigma themselves then the good news is that they are well ahead of their current prediction of 2 - 3 weeks at the moment, My 24-70mm arrived with them on the friday and I had it back the following Wednesday.
