new lenses help and advice

i am looking to buy a lens funds got a bit better than last time i posted, i want a zoom lens for wild life a friend uses a sigma 50-500 and has had great shots with it but have been looking on net and for same money can get the sigma 150-500 os and the 55-250 is for my cannon any thoughts please .

I have the 150-500 OS, lovely lens, you will not be disappointed for the price.

Hi, can't help with the Sigma lens, but the Canon 55-250IS lens is a very good lens, esp for the price

For a wildlife lens the Sigma 150-500 is difficult to beat, nothing else in that price bracket gives you the reach and it has an awesome IS system. The only thing I can think of to replace mine with is the Canon 500L and that costs about 7 times the price of the Sigma.
