I am after some recommendations on monitors. I am in the market for a new windscreen one as my current monitor (LG) has varying consistence to images depending on the vertical angle I am sitting at (if I sit up straighter in the chair I see different depths of detail if that makes any seance to anyone as it's hard to explain)

I have a budget up to £250 and I do have a calibration equipment

Hi Nigel,

Have a look at the Dell ips range. Excellent monitors for photo editing.
 
I'd definitely recommend the Dell U2412M IPS and it's within your budget. Got one a while back and I'm extremely happy with it.

Dell U2412 is well worth investigating at this price point. I'm well happy with mine.
 
Thanks all, I will look at this model. Can anyone explain what ips means? Is this what will give me better viewing angles especially in vertical angles.
