Yes
so soon we will be able to but some new nikon glass :)
AF-S DX 55-300/4,5-5,6 G ED VR
AF-S 85/1,4 G with Nano
AF-S 24-120/4 G ED VR
AF-S 28-300/3,5-5,6 G ED VR

I know that few TP'ers will go for new 85mm :)

Im interested in 24-105 f4.0 ...

it could be a good walkabout lens for me, as at the moment I use 35 f2 and 105 f2...

maybe even could replace both of those primes (if only picture quality will be good enough) and let me get longer glass....

hmmm dilemmas

we will see them sooner then we think :)
september I think

The reveal will be next month at Fotokina, I expect...

If that's how it'll be, the 24-120mm f/4 sounds spot-on for me, especially if I do the inevitable go and go FF sometime in the near future. Will sit nicely with the 12-24mm f/4.

You can correct the spelling in your title you know!!!

Oooh sounds interesting, that'll fit nicely on my F3.

so as many of us were expecting, Nikon announced new lenses...

Nikon web page

lets wait and see how much for them ;)

nice to see them finally jumping on the f/4 glass bandwagon.

LOL £1500 for 85mm ...and 1.4 not 1.2 ?!?!?!?! bit too much....I was thinking about swaping my 105DC for it but dont think will be able to do it....

yeah - £1499.99 in the UK, 1549€ here across the water and $1649 in the US...

I'm a bit of a aperture n00b, would you mind explaining why this is a good thing? I figured maybe it's because the glass will be cheaper for very little loss in useability compared to a f2.8 maybe?

That's the theory, but the prices that Nikon have released in this instance don't seem to be following that trend at all...
