NEW TO PHOTOGRAPHY

Good Afternoon,

Took up photography about 2 weeks ago when my daughter bought me a camera (Olympus OM D 10 Mk III) in advance of my birthday.

A bit confusing to say the least however it is light and that is what I like.

At present thinking my interests will lie in the Street - especially grimey back streets and Heritage Railway

So time to go out and play and learn and d3velop by making errors..

Welcome Derek. Did you get the 14-42mm kit zoom with it, or are you going for a prime? The Panasonic 14mm/2.5 looks like it would be discreet enough for street.

Welcome Derek. Did you get the 14-42mm kit zoom with it, or are you going for a prime? The Panasonic 14mm/2.5 looks like it would be discreet enough for street.

My daughter got the twin lens “Jessops Kit” with both the 14-42 R and the 40 - 150 R lenses. Plus the essential spare genuine Olympus battery. Must say I do like this camera it is so light. Shall be looking at a prime lens once I improve technique etc. Thank you for your kindness.
