New York City

a nice set of the big apple
did you get to see the guggenheim..

love the binocular statue of liberty pic, reminds me of a tip shooting eiffal tower similar to that , very useful

I like the top one - where was it taken from as I will be going there is a few weeks so looking for good vantage points.

Pretty sure it was on top of the Rockefella building, looking towards the Empire State building. You can see a lot of Central park from up there too. We went last January, great 360 degree view of New York up there. Rockefella is a must!

Excuse the quality of the pics, but was on my small point and shoot!

Taken from the Top of the Rock, which is a must. The Empire State has nothing on it, views are better and you obviously get the Empire State in the shot too. Heres more of the view:

I loved New York when we were there for Christmas 2 years ago.

We did empire state building as we could see if from our hotel window.

You might get the Empire state building shot from the Rockefeller center (sic) but you get a nice view of the Chrysler from the Empire State Building and you get to go up the tallest building in New York - not the 10th...

The view down to our hotel:

Images taken in poor quality compact so not brilliant, sorry

Nice images Mac. The view of Lower Manhattan is better from the Empire State, we just enjoyed the atmosphere of the Rock much better. Less queuing and quieter. You HAVE to visit the Empire State though haha heres some of mine from there:
