Hey,

Looking for some advice on grabbing a new zoom lens. I shoot for a Wakeboarding magazine and at the moment i'm only using my standard 18-105mm D90 kit lens..

The 18-105 is great for covering the corners in wakeparks as the banks are on the corners and I get shots like this;

Although when they are having a session on the grinds and funboxes its so far away that I don't bother trying to shot it..

As you can see with this unprocessed image, it just dosn't cut it...

I don't know whether to go for the big guns and grab the Nikon 70-300mm or the Nikon 18-200.. OR if there is anything else on the market at the same (sort of) price which would be suitable..

In your budget, I'd go for the 70-300 over the 18-200 - you've already got 18-105 covered, and 200 isn't anywhere near long enough at most lakes unless you're riding double or are in a boat.

Money no object, a 10-20 (for under kicker and other close shots), 70-200 (close banks/in boat), 200-400 and 600 would be ideal, but that's a few quid.
