I have had a go at the newcastel quayside..

trying to re-enact rorys attempt... for those who dont know what i am on about look here.

but this is my attempt and i would like your C&C on my image..

that's nice mate, i like the row of lights going into the photo :)
 
i like this shot allso, a good point to take it from, however , the new flats on the left are leaning in over a bit ,maybe the baltic as well. It may be the lens used ?. Just an obversation .
 
Horizon looks ok to me , The lamp post on right is allso leaning in, thats why i mention the lens, Mind you ,I havent got the best of eyes now.colin
 
Nice lead in lines and good balance and the reflections work really well. Maybe a little dark but all in all very nice.

lol im glad no one has noticed that i PS the reflections lol.... as there wasnt any...

the reason its so dark is coz i took it at around 5.15 when it was getting dark.
 
I thought it looked a little strange. The water is too rippley for those reflections... now I look at in hindsight after being told, its obvious.....isn't it?
