I use Colour Efex Pro quite a bit and it is very good. Also have the rest of the plugins as well and out of the rest I tend to use Nik Define the most. You can demo them all to see if you like before you buy. You may want to also take a look at Tiffen DFX, use this as well, all good plugins for PS.

They are excellent plug-ins. I use DFine for noise reduction. Viveza is very good for selective colour adjustments and Silver Efex is superb for BW conversions.

Wow $200 for a B&W conversion tool, think I will stick to Channel Mixer

They actually make Capture NX2 (according to the manual), so maybe there is some kind of link with Nikon?
