Yes
I really like the range of my 18-135 kit lens that came with my Nikon D80 and seem to have it on more often than any of my other lenses simply because of its versatility, however I find it's not the sharpest or quickest lems in the world. Any suggestions for a quicker and sharper lens in roughly the same range?

Cheers Paul

Yes its a great lens range wise but I find it a little soft compared to other lenses that I have and as I do a lot of motocross and trials I could do with something faster ie f2.8.

cheers Paul

Surely you don't use the wide end of it for motocross? Once you get to the point where you need f/2.8 and image quality you need to start choosing lenses for a specific purpose and move away from general lenses like the 18-135.

We can help you more once we know the focal lengths that are most important for you and your budget.

I could recommend:
17-55 + 80-200
14-24 + 24-70 + 80-200
Or an assortment of prime lenses.

It all depends on your budget, whether or not you feel yourself going full frame in the near future, your shooting style, whether or not you shoot in situations where you can change lenses between shots and all sorts.
