Nikkor 70-200VRII and TC's

I'm thinking of buying a Teleconverter and wondering how well they work on this lens? anyone got any photos with one of these lens's being used with a Teleconverter? if so, can you post them up, with what TC you used with it at the time? Thanks in advance.

Hi Wilko. I used a tc-20e 11 with my 70-200vr1 when I went to Africa last year. The tc was fitted throughout the holiday with pleasing results. Take a look at my gallery.

Taken with the 70-200 VRII and 1.7x TC. IMO this is the best combination of length and aperture.

Just bought a Nikon 2x TC MKII off the bay for £140.00 all in. Looking forward to getting it now.

Well i got my Nikon 2x TCII today and after just messing about with it briefly, i have to say it's looking good!!!! Can't wait to try it out in anger, now!

I would happily use the 2 x III all day long on the vrII. Makes a nice 140-400mm 5.6. I've raved about the new 2 x several times on here, so wont go on..
