Nikon 1 V1 or Sony NEX-5...Sorted, neither.

Sony, I find it pointless to have a body and lenses that are as large as the APS-C sized Sony, cost more and yet use a sensor smaller than even m4/3...
 
I'd not buy either.

sensor in nikon is far too small and the sony looks rediculas with a tiny body and pretty much standard sized lenses.
 
From pics and reviews it looks like the Nikon is not any more ergonomic than the Sony. Maybe a g3 or a nex 7 might be a better idea.

Agree, the Nex is going to win that one easily. The viewfinder for the 5-n is apparently much better than that of the G3 and isn't actually that expensive, but I agree that it's not as convenient as a built in one :)
 
The Nikon looks like a toy camera! Digitalrev reviewed it recently, and completely took the pee out of it.
