Nikon 70-210 f4 AF - Anyone played with it ?

Recently I came across a Nikon Series-E 70-210 f4 AIS lens which I picked up off ebay. Its a really nice lens although manual focus does require a very fine movement or you overshoot.

Now while looking up this lens I came across the same lens but with AF, I saw somewhere online that the focus is very slow.
Apart from that comment it seems to be a decent lens and if its anythin like the one I have it should give great images.

I was wondering if anyone here had one or had played with one ?

Yeah I have used on and shot some weddings on it, will try and dig them out.

Worked well on the D3
