I've been hanging my nose over, and contemplating getting a 2nd user Sigma 70-200 f2.8. Much as I would prefer the Nikon, I'm afraid I can't afford nor justify the difference in price ( I appreciate the Nikon is a far far better lens).
However reading the forums, my attention has been drawn towards considering a 2nd user Nikon 80-200 f2.8 .
I'll be using it for close up sport horse eventing, Moto X ( trackside) and close to the action bikes at Darley Moor.
My question is, will the A/F be fast enough ? Is it fairly quick focusing ?
I'll be using it on my D300
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Tony
