anyone?

Hi I use the standard Nikon one and an aftermarket one and have done for 8 month without problems

Edit....thats both at the same time in my grip(y)

Yes, you can, but you need to ensure the aftermarket battery is D90 compatible, they all should be by now, but some older ones won't work in the camera - I have a pile of them from my D80 days that won't work in the D300, fortunately they work fine in the D70 :)

im looking around but struggling to find any in the uk that are compatible for less than 50... most say for d0 not d90, anyone got any links? would prefer genuine nikon..

cheers

Don't buy "genuine" Nikon batteries off Ebay whatever you do, especially the "bargain" ones :nono:

I'd recommend Phottix ones, they'll be dead cheap, I think I was £12, delivered for two for my Canon G10...
