No Depth Of Field Preview, allegedly. Is that correct ? Not even on the programmable Fn button ?

Fn button can only be programmed to:
-JPEG quality
-ISO sensitivity
-White balance
-Active D-lighting

i don't think there's DoF preview in this camera. besides, the view finder isn't big enough anyway.

Live view might be your best bet.

Thanks chaps. It's to set the aperture on electronic lenses when using a reversing ring. A bit of a blow for it to not be in there.

Actually, that's worth checking out. What if the lens is removed while LV is active. Does the aperture stay set ? .......

Doesn't work with my Canon

But then the Canon has a DoF preview button.

If LV does DoF preview then clearly the mechanics and the electronics still support the function. On the Canon LV the DoF preview is released when the lens is detached.
