Hi I need help please, my wife is really interested in photography as a hobby and loves taking pictures of scenery and will life. She only has a Nikon p90 and I want to get her a new camera for our wedding anniversary. As I'm not really sure I've found 2 in my price range and would like to no the best please. e A lot mixed reviews I'm reading. Nikon D3200 or Canon EOS 600D? Thanks
 
My advice would be to go to the nearest shop and try the feel of both cameras as it can be a deal breaker on it.

I love the feel of canon units and others prefer nikon.

Both are good cameras, my mother in law has the 3200 and its not a bad camera at all, my mrs has a 1100D and I have 60D's, all cameras can produce good images so the deal breaker is in the feel of the camera. :)
 
I will do that thanks. Tho is there not a clear winner? Or are the photo quality the same and it's literally the feel of the camera?
 
Got to be honest and I might get hounded for it, don't pay any attention to Snapsort and their DXO marks... in my own opinion, total toss.

They claim the 7D is better on high iso than the 60D... interesting when every user of the 7 and 60 claim the opposite.. numbers in a computer mean jack all.

Go to see the cameras, take some sample pictures if they allow you and see which you like best.

There is no replacement for user input, reviews using numbers in my eyes mean total crap.
