I didn't think of the D3x, but had my eyes set on a Hassie as I'm in to landscapes big time. Thought of buying the Hassie along with a couple of lens and the tilt-shift; whole set-up comes to a good amount of ££,£££! !!
I've asked around, and everywhere I went I was pushed down the D3x route. Nothing I said made anyone suggest I go with the Hassie; was I searching for an approval to push my guilt ?
My plans were to buy into digital medium format at the end of 2010; to give me ample time to study the whole idea and digest the cost issue.
In the end I realised that I am just not ready for the Hassie. I'm happy to spend the amount on touring the world with a good D3x and D700 instead
Does this rule out the logic of buying a Hassie? Not at all, it's just how I've come to accept where I am at right now.
So, for the timebeaing, this is on a hold until further notice. Threads like this, of course, don't help my finances a lot. Brings back the urge :nono:
