I found a d4 with around 3000 clicks only for 500 bucks only without objective. Should I get it? Only light traces of usure

That’s prob about the right price these days for such an old model.

It's about the going rate as long as it includes charger and good battery; more complete kit (box/accessories/etc) goes for more.

It's a great camera; the D4s and the D5 didn't improve much on the image quality. And in some ways I prefer the older 51pt AF system over the later/current 153pt system... particularly the way the "blocked shot settings" work in the dynamic AF modes.

I think the best thing about this deal for anyone buying it at least is its really never been used, so itll be brand new, pick up the OEM batteries while you still can - I got one of the last batch of the D3 batteries

Sounds like a great deal. You'll have a big learning curve but it'll do all that you might want I'm sure, for some time to come.
