Nikon D5000 uv lens filters

Hi all,

I was offered a Nikon D5000 + 18-105 VR lens, and I would like to buy a set of filters for the lens but :
1 - I have no idea where I can get this online;
2 - I don't know which filters are compatible.

Any pointers would be very appreciated.

Hi Paulo
I am pretty sure that the filter diameter should be 67mm. You can actually use any kind of filter you want, depending on what effect you are looking for.

You should be able to find any kind of filters on e-bay or any other online camerashop for that matter.

You have not really said what you are trying to do with the filters. If you are just after a UV or Skylight filter to protect the lens, then yes a 67mm screw in filter is what you need.

You mentioned wanting a filter set, so are you really after filters to try help your exposures or add some creative effects to your pictures ? If so you would probably be looking for a slot in one like these - http://www.warehouseexpress.com/category/basecategory.aspx?cat03=3073
