Nikon D5300 or 5200

Hi guys
I'm looking to purchase a new DSLR as a partner for my D5100 - I hate having to change lenses and I also like to have two bodies to cover for mishaps
I was of a mind to go for the D5300, but it's about £100 more than the D5200, and I wonder if there's value in that price difference?
Any helpful comments would be appreciated

Depends if wifi and gps is important to you I guess? The 53 also 'should' produce sharper images as it has no OLPF but whether you'd notice that is a matter of opinion.

I think I'd go with the newer tech of the 53 but both are good cameras. The glass is where you'll notice the main difference anyway.

Thanks - is it safe to use hdew? I see they offer free 3 year warranty - is that with Nikon?

Hdew is well liked here. The warranty I believe would be with them and they would more than likely use a camera repair store in the UK. Hdew have a shop here too. Never used thwm personally but alot of mwmbers here have and a friend bought his d610 from them too.
