Nikon D90

I was looking into upgrading from my Nikon D40X to a Nikon D90, first of all would this be a sensible move?

If so what would be cheapest place to buy the Nikon D90? I would prefer it to have the kit lens with it too.

I have done exactly the same upgrade and not looked back. The D90 is so much better - it's easier to use, better functionality, better image quality, better high ISO performance, can use non AF-S lenses with auto focus etc. Try www.camerapricebuster.co.uk for the best price.

With regard to the kit lenses, what lenses do you have with the D40x ? I would only recommend buying the lenses you want/need rather than a kit lens because it's bundled.

Looking at the price increase for the kit lens I think i'll just do with the lens I have for the D40X (18-55 and 55-200) and save the 150 odd £ and use that towards another lens

i moved from nikon d40 to sony as i could get more for my money, but do miss nikon

sony is worth a look though
