Stick a motor drive on it - yes /no ?

Regards

Usually it's inside the battery compartment of the MD-4 motordrive that the previous owner forgot all about when he/she listed them as seperate items on EBAY...lol

First thing I checked when I got mine and sure enough, there it was...

I've just got two F3 bodies and although when I used them 20 years ago I had MD-4s on both of mine, this time I wanted to use them as lightweight everyday cameras and my Leica M6, although utterly delicious, is a PITA to use when you're used to an SLR...
If I wanted the size and weight penalty of a big, motorised body I'd just take the D3 out instead...

Just do a search on eBay. There are a few places that do replacement covers.

To stop the film fogging, stick a bit of blackout card over the hole with some gaffer/duct tape.
