I've just dug out my in-surprisingly-good-nick Nikon F65 and was wondering if it would work with this Sigma HSM 70-200.

It's not a combo I'm banking on using much, if at all, but would be interested in knowing if it's even possible.

Thanks in advance!

Can't see why not.

If it had DC in the description, It would be for DSLRs with a cropped sensor only, but as it's a DG, It's only likely to have coatings on the elements to reduce ghosting you sometimes get with Digital cameras.

Thanks for your reply. Very helpful. :)

That's kind of what I was thinking. Given how light the F65 is and how heavy that lens is it might not be tried out for a while though.

Unfortunately, the batteries in my F65 are dead, otherwise I would bung the Sigma on it to check for you. I know I've got some spares somewhere and if/when I find them, I'll let you know.

Nod - thanks for the offer but I've now got batteries in my F65 and will have a look at it over the weekend.

Have to say I'd forgotten just how light the F65 is. It's like a feather!
