Nikon FE - a beginners question

I'm just about ready to try shooting my first B&W film with a FE body and 50mm f1.4 lens.

and the silly question is can I use a Q strap to carry it . I really do not like neck straps.

Cannot imagine it's more delicate than my 60D but you never know.

Nech straps are pretty poor I find because they are to short.

I reuse the ends from the older nikon straps and remake the straps with a longer piece of fabric so you can sling it over your shoulder and the camera sits at the hip.
 
Thanks for the replies.

We both went for a walk round Norwich today and survived(y).

Now you mention it I can see it does have similarities to a tank.
In hand it's well chunky.
