I have been offered either a Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 EX DG, or a similar 28-70mm f2.8 DG Aspherical lens. I will be using the lens for motorsport mainly, on my Nikon D200, so which one should I go for? And what is the difference between the 2? Thanks

Need to know a.s.a.p as the seller has other people in mind. Thanks

Is 70mm long enough for you for motorsport

I was at Oulton Park on Monday and using 150 - 200 mm plus most of day.

There were a lot of 400mm zooms around aswell (y)

Please take this with a HUGE pinch of salt.....

But I think the EX DG version is the newer version
Sorry if that's not much help........

just had a quick look at Sigma's website - there is only one version of this lens and the EX DG is Aspherical. The two lens look indetical to me. I was getting confused with the Sigma 24-70 of which there are 2 versions on sale
