Just bought a used Nikon 400mm f2.8 AF-S II and want to give it a precautionary service. Thought about calibration also but it seems good to me and know thats more applicable to canon telephotos.
Big question is WHO should I send it to. Nikon UK in Surrey (with NPS), Fixation in London, or Lehmann in Staffordshire??
If anyone has experience of getting pro glass repaired/serviced at any of these i would love to hear your experiences good or bad. Things like quality of work and turnaround are of particular interest.
