My old generic remote release has broken beyond repair for my Nikon D700. I therefore need to buy a new remote release. I'm interested in having a timer function that is included with the MC-36 but I'm wondering whether there are alternatives that are similar but cheaper. £120 is quite steep but is a generic one I found on eBay at £15 too cheap? I have Jessops vouchers to spend from Christmas but is it worth using them for something I can get cheaper and does the same job?
