Nikon SB-800 and two Yongnuo 560 speed lights,does anyone know what settings to apply to fire those three speed lights off camera using pop up flash on my D300 ?

I am still waiting for transmiters that I have ordered recently and would like to try to fire them using pop up flash on camera.

I have an earlier version on the yongnuo and on the S1 setting this fires using the optical sensor - i would hav expected both your guns to have something similar.

You may need to have a play with your camera settings to make sure that the guns don't fire on a Pre flash.
 
I think they actually are because when I finally managed to fire all three, only SB800's light beam appears on the picture,,any suggestions?

Have a search around on the Strobist flickr group for the 560's optical slave potential :)

If you struggle, might be worth investing in a set of triggers so you know that each flash is firing when required (as you press the shutter) so you're not relying on an optical slave.

Check your power settings and make sure the red bit of the YN560 is facing the flash you want to trigger the YN.

Dude they all three are flashing but only SB800 is lighting in the picture

Have you got the YNs in S1 or S2 mode? If the onboard flash is in TTL mode and firing preflashes, you need the YNs in S2 mode which will ignore the preflashes. in S1 mode they will trigger as soon as anything flashes. Other than that just sounds like you need to balance the output.
 
Are you controlling the SB800 through the onboard flash commander mode?
If so, that is the problem because, as Lawrie said above, the pre flashes are triggering the optical triggers and they do not have time to recycle when the main on board flash triggers.
You will have to set the on board flash to manual, and then set the SB800 to trigger optically as well, if that is possible.
Other possibility is to set the on board to commander mode, then set the mode for built in flash to --. This will set the on board pre flashes to low power, and hopefully not trigger the optical.
Problem is the SB800 might still pre flash as well, but this might also be able to be switched off, have a look in the SB800 manual.
 
OK, I just tried it on my D90 with a SB600 and an optically triggered Portaflash.
The built in flash is set to Commander mode (custom setting menu e2 on D90, e3 on the D300) and built in flash is set to -- in Commander mode.
Both flashes trigger and show in the picture.
