Nikon Sigma mismatch on D7100

Did not see this on here but there is an acknowledged problem with sigma and D7100. I had to sell my 18-200 and 18-270 as they caused a problem with the LCD .It would not go below 60 sec in any mode ...Battery life was reduced 75% .Must admit that the Nikon 18=140 has produced much better pictures and I have no problems.

Third party grips also causing problems with battery order.
