I'm new here, must admit to lurking for some time though!
I'm keen on wildlife/birds, equipment has been D2x, Nikon 500mm f4P and a TC16a which is a teleconverter giving 1.6x and some limited autofocus.
I know the TC16a can be converted to work with other Nikon bodies including the D7000 which I intend to buy.
Having seen the instructions for the conversion, I think its beyond my tinkering capability - all those tiny springs and delicate soldering work.
Does anyone know, is there anyone out there who will do the conversion for me for a reasonable fee?
