The only lens I currently have is prime 50mm f1.8. I'm learning the camera with it but looking at adding telephoto or zoom. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Depends what sort of budget you have and what kind of photography things you shoot.
The Z 24-70 f4 is a great zoom lens for general purpose shooting and pretty reasonable at used prices. I have the 24-120 Z f4 and can highly recommend it. The extra 50mm is useful on the long end and the image quality is slightly up on the 24-70.
As I say it’s really dependent on what you’re planning on shooting.
