No Longer Trading

Not quite, it mearly proves that they may had paid for a something, the fact prices are on a website doesn't mean thats what they actually paid for, we often get asked for different packages to those on the site

If all of the packages include prints/cd of images and not just a slideshow then again, more evidence to be used. If you bank details show that you paid the £100 deposit + £500 and there is a £600 package on there, again more evidence to be used.

doesnt prove what the verbal contract said though - the togs likely defence (quite possibly even true) is that the verbal contract was for shooting the wedding and supply of a slideshow , with prints and/or a rights released cd costing extra - which hasnt been paid

no pay - no pics - and unless you can prove different, no case

Again, this needed to be used with the above information. No single bit (other than a signed contract) can prove anything in its own, but they need to collect as much evidence as possible.

And no offence to anyone else, but I don't see a lot of positive help being offered anyway in this thread so any suggestions are better than none ;)

I think a lot of positive help has been offered - largely in saying forget about it - you arent going to get anything after five years don't waste your time.

suggesting they collect a bunch of hopefull coblers then trying to enforce a supposed contract that they don't have in writing based on a 5 year old bank statement showing some non specific withdrawls and a screen print of a website which is no longer up isnt helpful - its not remotely good advice which will just leave them wasting cash on legal fees, then getting laughed out of court.
