Could anyone photograph a thrip for me? They're those tiny long slim black pesky insects that get into my picture frames and computer monitor at this time of year and are known in these parts as thunder flies. I'd love to see what they look like close-up but have neither a macro lens or even a magnifying glass :shake:

I've got a dead squashed one that somehow got into my lcd screen (slap bang in the middle of the screen too)..... LOL! Now I always turn my screen off if I leave the computer unattended during the summer months.

Looking at one particular shot in the link that Alby provided, it seems it was taken in December so maybe wise to turn the screen off even during the winter months.
